 The Community Empowerment Foundation launched its inaugural ceremony participated by dozens of our community members and heads/representatives of partner organizations in Beaverton’s library conference room on 01/02/2025.

The ceremony began with recitation of verses of the Holy Quran, followed by an opening remarks by Mr. Abdul Saboor Hassan, one of the foundation’s board members. He shared the journey of the Community Empowerment Foundation (CEF) and emphasized on its key role in the society as a bridge connecting people with to resources and other communities and organizations.

Following the agenda, Mrs. Marion Barret presented a presentation on Oregon Domestic Violence Laws and potential consequences for community members especially new immigrants if not adhered to. The audience warmly welcomed the celebration, expressing their support and cooperation with the Community Empowerment Foundation in future projects and programs.
